The sun is shining over Talywerydd and the beautiful Ceredigion coast. 20degrees at moment….lovely! 

Had a variety of motorhomes, campervans, caravans and tents on site last night…and an old fashioned Romany gypsy wagon, whch is a rare sight these days.

Dutch and German visitors on site. All were blessed with an awesome sunset…they are truly amazing at the moment!

Promising a lovely weekend… fantastic for fun in/on the sea of Cardigan Bay…exploring the coastal walks…and definately fab for camping and enjoying the great outdoors…whatever accomodation you choose to pitch up!

Here at Talywerydd we have a limited number of seasonal pitches available on site. This is when, for an annual fee, you site your caravan  and come and go as you please from March to the end of October. Prices are inclusive of electricity. Reasonable use by family and friends is allowed, but strictly no sub-letting.

We have had a lot of interest for next year and spaces are going fast. Four seasonal pitches for the 2011 season went this weekend alone! If  you think you may be interested, please contact us to discuss details and arrange a viewing.

The sun has got his hat on… hip hip hip hooray !!!
A gorgeous sunny morning here at Talywerydd. Time to leave the indoor chores till this later I think and get out and do some planting for an hour or so… Martin’s got a day planned on the mower and strimmer to get the site looking spick n span for our weekend guests. Oh happy days …!!!

We are continually trying to improve the on-site facilities for our caravan and camping guests. I know that the campers’ kitchen, which we added over the winter, has been extremely well recieved in particular by our camping tent guests. The free to use equipment, such as the toaster and microwave, have been appreciated by camping guests in two-man tents; the table and chairs providing somewhere to sit down and eat their meals in comfort. The freezer was also well used for freezing icepacks free of charge.
The location is somewhat special. I doubt many UK campsites can boast the panoramic seaview with which we have been blessed here at Talywerydd, nor the beautiful sunsets melting into the calm evening seas of Cardigan Bay. Truly special. In the words of one of our guests ”It is like a piece of heaven on Earth! ” Idyllic surroundings, wildlife and fauna and, not forgetting, the birdsong…
Guests at Talywerydd are somewhat spoilt for choice when it comes to beaches. We have four wonderful beaches within 3 miles of our touring caravan park each with differing facilities and ambience: Aberporth, Tresaith, Penbryn and Llangrannog. Only 5 Ceredigion beaches received the coveted Blue Flag award for 2010 and 3 of them are listed above! New Quay, another of the 5 Blue Flag beaches, is only 11 miles away.
When it comes to beaches, we really do have everything on offer on our doorstep!
