We are continually trying to improve the on-site facilities for our caravan and camping guests. I know that the campers’ kitchen, which we added over the winter, has been extremely well recieved in particular by our camping tent guests. The free to use equipment, such as the toaster and microwave, have been appreciated by camping guests in two-man tents; the table and chairs providing somewhere to sit down and eat their meals in comfort. The freezer was also well used for freezing icepacks free of charge.
The location is somewhat special. I doubt many UK campsites can boast the panoramic seaview with which we have been blessed here at Talywerydd, nor the beautiful sunsets melting into the calm evening seas of Cardigan Bay. Truly special. In the words of one of our guests ”It is like a piece of heaven on Earth! ” Idyllic surroundings, wildlife and fauna and, not forgetting, the birdsong…
Guests at Talywerydd are somewhat spoilt for choice when it comes to beaches. We have four wonderful beaches within 3 miles of our touring caravan park each with differing facilities and ambience: Aberporth, Tresaith, Penbryn and Llangrannog. Only 5 Ceredigion beaches received the coveted Blue Flag award for 2010 and 3 of them are listed above! New Quay, another of the 5 Blue Flag beaches, is only 11 miles away.
When it comes to beaches, we really do have everything on offer on our doorstep!
